Part 1 · Arouca Mountains
- Morning
Leave Cascais and drive ~2 hours north on the A1.
- Lunch
Pit stop in Coimbra at Restaurante Sete. Perfect halfway point to get the kids out of the car.
- Afternoon
Drive the final 1.5 to 2 hours up into the Arouca mountains. Check-in at Syntony Hotels (Paradinha Village) to unpack.
- Dinner
Head down to Casa do Areinho — right on the sand at the river beach. Super relaxing start.
- Night
Back to the cabin. Kids to bed, adults open the wine!
